Summary:
This book is about a little boy of sixteen having a dream about another place for his people to live. His name is Wolf Dreamer; he was giving a dream from the wolf. The wolf helps guide him towards the wondrous place. He embarks on a journey to which his tribe is either against him or with him. Those that are with him journey through unimaginable things. While those that are against journey through treacherous landmarks trying to survive. Each step they take is another step that could lead them through that wondrous place or send them back to the dangers.

If you love Native American history this is the book to read. It not only shows you the path, but it creates this longing of understanding just how beautiful Native life is. The authors did a wondrous job of creating their heritage through their artwork, how they did things, and what Native life really means. This series is about trusting yourself, to stand up for yourself, and never losing that sight of your spirit within that animal.
